Feedback and Modulation Effects

Comb Filter with effect feedback applied

Feedback in modulation refers to how much of a final processed sound is shot back into the modulation effect.  Essentially what is happening is the peaks of the comb filter that has been created when shifting time or phase itself, become more defined.  The resulting sound is quite unique and is dependent on whether the feedback has been created from a flanger or phaser.  This video will discuss the use of feedback in modulation effects.
